The Futurity partnership was originally setup in 2002 by husband and wife team, Neil and Caroline Baker.

They set up the company together, after hearing tales from friends and collegues which had experienced expensive websites and very poor service and they felt they could offer a more realistically priced personal service.

Realising that with their knowledge and experience they could produce sites, their aim was to make use of their complementary skill sets to deliver high quality Internet and IT solutions and services at prices based on a realistic hourly rate.

Neil came to Futurity from Verizon (also know under the brand names Pipex, UUNET & MCI WorldCOM) which at the time owned and maintained over half the commercial internet network in the world. With Verizon, Neil gained 7 years of experience working as a Senior Software Developer, then as a Systems Architect and finally as a Senior Manager responsible for Global Internet Systems. Before MCI, Neil worked as a Software Consultant for 2 years for BP.

Caroline came to Futurity from BrandID, a leading Web Design Company based in Hertfordshire. Caroline gained 7 years of experience working as one of their Senior Web Designers and played a key part in setting up the business. During her time there, she was instrumental in the development of corporate sites such as the national Business Link website.

Futurity's business model is to keep their costs low by home working and pass the large cost saving on to their customers. They were therefore able to offer a superior service at a greatly reduced price.

Over the following two years, after recognising the potential of this business approach, Futurity Solutions started to team up with other Web Designers and IT specialises to form a network of talented professionals.

In early 2004, Futurity Solutions took the next step and became a limited company joining the main league of Web Design and IT Companies whilst maintaining affordable prices by using the principle of home working.

Futurity Solutions now offers a full complementary set of services through a team of 6 professionals. For our core services such as Web Design, IT Support and IT consultancy we now have resilience in place. Each member of the team brings with them a speciality as diverse as Brand Development, Search Engine Optimisation, Internet Data Scraping, Multimedia services, Still Photography and Business Stationary Design.
